My academic journey reflects a continuous progression from understanding traditional textile systems to exploring high-performance and emerging materials. This path has shaped my interest in interdisciplinary research, particularly in developing innovative, sustainable material solutions. With hands-on experience, strong technical training, and a commitment to scientific growth, I am steadily building my career in the academic and research domain.
I am a textile and fibre science professional with a strong academic foundation and a growing research profile. I completed my B.Tech in Carpet and Textile Technology from IICT Bhadohi, where I developed a deep interest in material behaviour, fibre structures, and functional textiles. Building on this, I pursued my M.Tech in Fibre Science & Technology at IIT Delhi, which expanded my expertise in advanced fibres, polymer science, and material engineering, while also strengthening my research and analytical skills.
I am currently engaged in research at IIT Hyderabad, where my work focuses on developing bacterial cellulose–based filtration membranes for advanced water purification applications. My role involves cultivating high-quality bacterial cellulose, engineering membrane structures, and studying their performance under various filtration conditions using permeability analysis, transmembrane pressure studies, and mechanical testing.
